16 Hours to go

I was contemplating for several months if I should go home to Bacolod or not. There was no real need naman kasi, it's just that I haven't gone home for over 5 months now. So just today I bought a ticket to Bacolod for tomorrow!! It's a good thing there are still available tickets less than 24 hours before the trip (not to mention the fare is still cheap).

So there, I'm going home for 3days!! I'm so excited to have this very short break. Thanks to AirPhil Express (parang sponsor) :-)

2 months worth

Yikes! I have not updated my blog for 2 months!! This is probably the longest hiatus in my blogging life. But so are many of my blogger friends. They too have stopped blogging for some weeks now. I guess everyone is just too preoccupied with work and with the recent Holiday break.

What happened in the past 2 months?
I don't really remember many things. But one major highlight was my trip to Singapore. I attended a journalists' meeting. It was the first time I traveled to a country alone with no idea whatsoever. I just followed instructions given to me on how to get from airport to the residence. I toured Singapore on foot alone. It was an experience! Singapore is really cool!

Another highlight were my trips to Bacolod. I went there for Christmas, returned to Manila, then went back to Bacolod for New Year, then took the first flight to Manila on January 1.

Jetsetter mode ako noong December! hahaha. It was the time wherein I was in all 4 airports in Manila in a span of a few weeks (NAIA 1, 2, 3 and Manila Domestic-- first time ko mag Zest Air hehehe)

And yes, I watched at IMAX for the very first time last weekend. It was weird at first but eventually felt used to it. Avatar was visually stimulating!

I hope I can do more this 2010 and travel more too!
I will also try to update this blog of mine.

TPE - MNL

After 3 months of studying in Taiwan, I am now back in the Philippines. I arrived this afternoon via China Airlines. It has been a wonderful journey in Taiwan, an experience I am sure I will never forget.

Now it's back to reality. Back to work and back to my normal life. And I'm definitely not feeling down about it. I missed my life in Manila, but I will definitely not forget my Taiwan life.

Thanks to all my new friends in Taiwan. You all have made my stay more exciting. I am definitely going back there.

As of now, I'm on quarantine mode... hehehe.
Damn H1N1.

home bound

In a few hours I'll be back in Manila. As of this writing, I am still packing my stuff and trying not to have excess baggage-- but it is so difficult! My things here right now are 3 months worth of clothes, souvenirs, books and pasalubongs. Imagine trying to limit it to 20 kilos, at most 25!

But nevertheless, I am excited to go home and sad to leave Taiwan. Taipei has been a home to me. I have been exposed to its local life for 3 months, I have somewhat been attached to the city. I actually lived here and not just stay for a couple of days like a tourist. Wo ai Taiwan.

It's sad to leave friends here. Haay farewells are very sad indeed. But then again I will see my old friends back in the Philippines.

It's a mixed of emotions. I just hope I won't be infected with H1N1. hehehe

Mayon Day

I'm currently at the Villa Caceres Hotel in Naga City. Malds is surfing d net beside me while Archie is in our room at d 2nd floor. Malds and I are enjoying d free wifi at d hotel's lobby. And here I am typing this blog using my phone! I'm really amazed what technology can do. This is the first time I will be posting my blog using the web features of my phone. . hehehe. Anyway, we had a tiring but exciting first day here in Bicol. We took a 7 hour bus ride from Cubao to Naga. Btw, the bus had to wait for 30mins kasi late si Archie.. Hehe. The first major thing we did was d visit to the famous Mayon Volcano. It was so cool! Muntik na namin hndi makita due to the thick clouds, buti na lng for a few minutes nagpakita cya kahit hindi buo. Sulit na rin. Thanx Doryll for driving all the way from Naga to Legaspi in Albay. Tomorrow, Caramoan here we go! Archie and I inside the belfry Clouds covered Mayon just as we left d place
