Gold's Gym Centris crisis

I have been waiting for the opening of Gold's Gym Centris branch for 9 months now! I paid in full for a one-year membership December last year, with the aim of starting 2012 right. But 9 months later, the gym has yet to open. Gold's Gym says there were delays due to issues by Eton Centris management, but for 9 months?

Had I started working out February or March this year, I probably might have a fitter and better body by now. It just sucks that I dreamt of making 2012 a healthy and active year for me, but it's ending soon without me seeing a barbell or a treadmill. Of course, I couldn't enroll in another gym since month after month, I would receive a text from Gold's Gym that the Centris branch is opening soon. I don't want to pay double fees.

Last I heard, the Centris branch is opening last week of September or October. I wouldn't be surprise if there will be a delay again. It's just frustrating and those who enrolled last year, like me, can't really do anything, but wait.

I understand delays, it happens. But 9 months?! Hopefully, Gold's Gym will provide additional benefits especially to those who signed up last year and waited for many many months.

    I feel for you, this sucks big time. I availed of the pre-selling membership last year from Golds's Gym Libis hoping that they'd open on June 2011. Alas, they opened October na! Super nawalan na ko ng gana and I moved to the west of Manila this year so hindi ko pa na-aactivate yung membership ko until now. Mas worse pa pala yung nangyari sayo. Ipapa-activate ko na yung account ko soon and the golds gym management better not give me any problems else I'm gonna raise hell talaga. I wish you all the best and sana magbukas na nga ang Centris branch. My advice is kuhanin mo na ang email ng manager nila and speak to the person directly. Wag na sa management consultant mo kasi ganyan lang din ang gagawin nila. All they can give you are their empty apologies. Goodluck!

    Nag open na rin ang Centris branch, but medyo disappointed pa rin kasi the gym is kinda small. But no choice na since I have paid for it for a full year already, they gave free months in exchange for the delay. Hope you too will encounter no problem when you activate your account.
