November 2012 has been a good month for the beauty pageant industry in the Philippines. At least 4 Filipinos got top honors in various beauty contests worldwide (one for women, two for men, and one for transgenders). There may be other beauty contests, but these 4 are the most popular on social media.

Kevin Balot was crowned as the first Filipino to win the title in the pageant for transgenders. The contest was held in Pattaya, Thailand with contestants from Brazil and Thailand winning first and second runner up respectively.

June Macasaet is the first Filipino to win the male beauty pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand. Rounding up the top 5 are contenders from Sweden, Macau, Puerto Rico and Singapore.

Stephany Stefanowitz won first runner up in the prestigious beauty pageant held in Muntinlupa, Philippines. Miss Czech Republic won the title, while Venezuela and Brazil won second and third runner up respectively.

Mister World 2012
Andrew Wolff won first runner up in the male beauty pageant held in Kent, England. Andrew is the first Filipino to win a place in the pageant's history. Mister Colombia won the title, while Ireland won second runner up.
