fun in fatigue

The past days were really very tiring. Naramdaman ko talaga ang pagod sa aking katawan. It all started noong Friday. Whole day of travelling ba naman ako. Morning- we had a fieldtrip and tour sa GMA7. I met Mike Enriquez, Arnold Clavio and Ali. We were just inside the radio booth and also inside the news room. That afternoon- I went alone to Taft area. Ang hirap maghanap ng taxi!! So nag LRT ako from Katipunan to Recto and then Recto to Vito Cruz. Tapos nag pedicab to the house of Direk Dodos. Sinundo ko siya for Docufest. Nag taxi naman kami pabalik, pero ang tiring lang kahit nakaupo ako sa taxi. That evening- hatid naman namin siya pabalik with pj, bianx, alenn and pj's blockmates. Although may car na, it was still quite far. That night binababa namin si direk sa Malate area and had egg tarts sa Tomas Morato area.

Saturday- PEP DAY. No need to explain how tiring this day was. I was the officer in charge for the whole day, since wala si Doryll. And ang layo pa ng mga venues (SS Conf. Rm, Gonzaga Dance Studio, BAEX, Cov Courts, CTC 105) Lahat yun inikot ko. Pero fun pa rin. I like seeing my kids (b6). Nag sumbong pa kids ko sa akin na may nag mumura daw na kid from other area kay Chimney. Nalaman ko rin na may nagsumbong din kay Ger na kids niya na may nag away sa kid niya from other area. And it all pointed to one kid from Marytown. hahaha.. hate na ni Ger yung kid na iyon...

Monday- I had a fieldtrip sa National Archives and National Library. I thought it would be boring, pero fun din! We get to see really old manuscripts dating back during the Spanish times. There was also a restoration laboratory.. cool dba?. And the best of all is we were allowed to go in the Rare Books Collection (a place not even ordinary employees are allowed to enter). In that room, obviously rare books nga plus manuscripts. There were the presidential documents of Pres. Quezon etc. And meron pang vault dun and the librarian said that inside the vault lies the original documents of Jose Rizal. Na feel ko na parang Da Vinci Code mystery... hehehe. Well, here's the good part- the vault was opened for us!!!! There was one code combination, the first half of the code is kept by the head librarian, the other half of the code is kept by another head librarian. Para daw walang mananakaw. Anyway, they only took 3 things from the vault for us to see. One was the original NOLI ME TANGERE- yup the original talaga with erasures pa nga done by Rizal. Next is the original EL FILIBUSTERISMO and the last is the original MI ULTIMO ADIOS- yup as in handwritten by Rizal himself in Intramuros.

It was a fun fieldtrip even though wala akong kilala sa class na iyon.. Nag tour kami that day, wala man lang ako kausap (hahaha ang loser tingnan). Weird lang may isa akong classmate na during lunch biglang tinanong if atsca ako. Syempre nagulat ako. And then he said atsca daw siya dati together with marie and jeff. And of all cells, k1b6 daw siya. Wow. And then i said ako ang cell leader, he asked kung kaninong manang kami pumupunta, etc... Super senior na siya.

Anyway, as I said, very tiring yung past days. And yup loser ako kasi hindi pa ako nakanood ng cine since the beginning of classes... hahaha. Pero ok lang din. I am having fun naman.

SOC AW week is over. Thank God for a successful event (in general).
