Gulay

I had another coverage this week. I attended a media launch of the Fresh Choice Always Food Cart. It's basically a new business for those interested in selling vegetables. They plan to sell vegetables on a cart that will be roaming subdivisions. Think of dirty ice cream or fishballs on streets. Of course, they guarantee freshness and convenience. Each village will have one franchisee. They will start by the end of the year.

It's actually a good business if you are a veggie lover. Btw, the company behind this is the same firm that produced all those vegetables you see in SM groceries. So it's a credible venture. Also, I got to interview Alfred Vargas, who plans to franchise 31 food carts. Hehehe.

And as a gesture to us media, we were given a basket full of vegetables. :-) I didn't know what to do with it since I don't cook. I just donated it to the parish church in front of my house. The nun was shocked when I gave them the "donation"... no one has given them vegetables daw. Hehehe.

Well going back to the coverage. This is the first time I covered an event without any crew. Apparently, there were no crewcabs available that day--- meaning no car and no cameraman. My boss had to let me borrow her video camera and so I did. With the help of friend Aiza, we shot the entire event, together with interviews, on our own. That story will be aired next week. I hope it will look good despite our amateur hands.

Fainted

I just realized how embarrassing the situation was early today. I was at the gym and I fainted!

Well, before you visualize anything... it wasn't really a dramatic faint. I mean, I didn't fall or anything like that. I just suddenly felt super exhausted and I couldn't breath. Then I sat down and then it begun. My vision became blurry and I couldn't talk well. I just wanted to lie down. Then everyone looked at me. My trainer offered me a softdrink (he was putting it in my mouth). Then even some gymgoers gave me candy. For a few moments, I literally took centerstage.

Ar first, it was ok. Now, I realized, it was so embarrassing. Now, everytime I go to the gym, people will stare at me and think "Oh that's the guy who fainted". Hehehe.

Anyway, the reason I fainted is because I didn't eat breakfast before I hit the gym. That's a lesson for me. Eat something before workout. Haaay.

Exorcism

From TV... now I have invaded the world of the internet. Today, All Saints' Day, my article on exorcism was posted online. Of course, it was edited to fit online journalism. I wrote it differently the first time (I guess because I'm so used to TV writing).

I based my story from an interview on ANC's Talkback with Tina Palma. I also made a report on it for ANC. It was aired on four newscasts yesterday. Now, it's on www.abs-cbnnews.com. It's good to be part of a big media network. hehehe

Some gist: Exorcism cases in the Philippines is rising. We should have a strong and rooted faith in order to avoid demonic possessions. At the same time, if we hear stories on sanib, we must first check if it is indeed demonic or maybe just psychological. Talk to an exorcist if you feel negative elements is bothering you.
