The National Museum of the Philippines in Manila consists of two major buildings: the Museum of the Filipino People and the National Art Gallery. These two buildings are just just near each other, though you have to cross a busy street to get to the other. The Museum of the Filipino People is the building near Rizal Park, while the National Art Gallery is the one near Intramuros.
I visited the museum with my sisters. All of us have never been there (I only visited the Museum of the Filipino People when I was in college). And I must say, it's a must-visit for all Filipinos. I know students are required to visit the place, but I recommend those who are working already to revisit this national treasure.
Entrance to the museum costs P150 for adults, P50 for students. The ticket price already includes entrance to the two buildings. Don't forget to ask for a receipt since that will be your ticket to the other museum.
