President Benigno Aquino III took time to promote Philippine tourism during his trip to the United Kingdom. Aquino and other Philippine officials had their pictures taken with London's double decker buses wrapped with the 'Its more fun in the Philippines' design. The government has spent millions of pesos for this tourism campaign, which included 25 buses and 50 taxis. Several Philippine tourism posters can also be seen in many subway stations.
The buses and taxis with the Philippine tourism campaign will be visible even during the 2012 London Olympics next month. I believe this will be the perfect time to tell the world about the beauty of the Philippines. Thousands of people from across the globe will be in London for the Olympics, and hopefully, they will be enticed to go to the Philippines.
