Sad lang na hindi napuno yung classroom, pero expected na rin din kasi maraming ginagawa yung mga tao. I'm just happy na there were 7 b6 (including lee-ann and I). Syempre, sa dinner after, b6 ulit dominated the crowd (hehe tamad lang mag-aral). Thanks to Caloy for a successful Ed Session and for the great Ed Articles compiled in the book "Pagbabalik Loob".
Yesterday morning din pala, my Investigative Journalism groupmates and I did our very first fieldwork sa MEGA-Q Mart and NEPA-Q Mart. Ang iinvestigate kasi namin ang mga pandadaya sa palengke like tampering of weighing scales, injecting fluids sa chicken and other strategies. At the same time digging into why the QC government, despite having a Market Inspection Division, failed to stop such pandaraya.
We interviewed the vendors and we had to tell a small lie. Sabi lang namin na may research kami for marketing class and we need to know about business and focus kunyari namin market. Lumabas rin ang siguro matatawag kong atscan side of me, kasi while my groupmates were asking questions related to weighing scales, market profits, etc. I started asking ilan na anak nila, ilang years na sila nagtitinda... Wow ang iba sa kanila 30 years na sa pagtitinda ng meat. Ang galing lang na most of them napa aral talaga ang mga anak till college because of being a market vendor. Some were very proud na ang anak nila student ngayon sa ABE, UP and others. Naalala ko lang si ate Baby sa area na may anak sa FEU.
Of course, the vendors denied na nandadaya sila.
